Each member of this team has years of experience working with units in their home towns, in their districts and in council positions. Each of them are Wood Badge trained and have a passion for delivering a quality program that is a phenomenal experience for the development of character and young leaders.

David, an Eagle Scout from Troop 130 of Marion, New York, is the Scoutmaster for the SWC 2023 Contingent and the Boy Troop Green.  He is the Scoutmaster of Troop 167 of Pittsford, New York and has served on two Wood Badge courses, Council Shooting Sports Committee and the Massawepie Summer Camp Program Team.

Jon has been selected as an Assistant Scoutmaster for the SWC 2023 Contingent and Boy Troop Green.  He is the Committee Chairman of Troop 167 of Pittsford, NY and serves on many Council and District Committees including: Wood Badge Staff, Council Shooting Sports Committee and the Massawepie Summer Camp Program Team and many more and is a 2023 Silver Beaver recipient.

Greg, an Eagle Scout, has been named as a Scoutmaster for one of the 2023 SWC Boy Troops. Currently, Scoutmaster for Troop 110 and Waters Edge District Vice Chair of Program, he has continued to serve Scouting through his adult life in various positions such as Den Leader, Cubmaster, District Round Table Commissioner, Troop and Pack Committee member, Assistant Scoutmaster, and OA Advisor.

An Eagle Scout, Hugh is a former Scoutmaster of Troop 9 in Penfield. In 2021, Hugh served as Lead Advisor to Troop 9's Philmont Crew, having taken three treks as a youth. His Scouting background also includes Wood Badge, National Camp School, and participant, staff, or leadership roles at four NOACs.

He is a Wood Badge trained scouter from the Western Gateway district and has served as a Den Leader and CubMaster of Pack 178 in Chili, NY and continues to serve as an Assistant ScoutMaster in Troop 178 in Chili. He has served on the district committee and the council STEM/NOVA committee and has helped teach IOLS and BALOO courses.

Trisch Axsmith Tavolette

Trisch has served in many positions at the Scouting unit, district, and council levels to support development of both youth and adult leaders. She will serve as an ASM for the female patrol in our 2023 Jambo contingent. Her energy, enthusiasm, and leadership roles have given her the opportunity to work with girls and boys as they develop and hone their leadership, outdoors, and cooking skills. Trisch has served as a Troop 2019 Scoutmaster, Troop 341 & Crew 313 Advancement Chair, District Training Chairperson, and Den Leader.
